21st Century Girls
21st Century Girls is dedicated to providing learning opportunities for 21st Century Skills. Our mission is to build capacity for engaging in a modern economy, education, and society. We teach modern sklls for education and technologies. The Girls learn to help each other developing teamwork and problem solving skills.
The communities the Girls are in rank amongst the lowest in the Human Rights index. We believe that building epertise will empower the Girls and lead to opportunities for them to participate in the improvement of their economy and education. The Girls really want to find a way to have a positive and meaningful impact that will benefit their family, community, and country.
Our Programs
Teaching Stem
Our focus is on Science, Technologies, Engineering, and Math to prepare students for 21st Century Skills needed for higher education and a modern workforce.
Teaching Stem
We provide real experiences with engineering, robotics, coding, engineering design, and applications for AI, ML, digital media, and data analytics.
Teaching to Teach
We are building expertise within the communities by teaching every student so that they can teach someone else. We prepare Girls to be Teaching Assistants, take on leadership rolls, and eventually become Assistant Instructors.
Our Needs
A typical semester with 2 courses has 100 students, 22 Teaching Assistants, and 6 Assistant Instructors.
$50 provides a student the internet for 1 semester.
$150 supports a Teaching Assistant and their internet expense for a semester.
$250 supports an Assistant Instructor for a semester.
